Instant Training opens new premises

UK based Instant Training held an Open Day to celebrate its move into new larger premises in Newport, Shropshire yesterday.

The new training facility based at Audley Business Park, Newport, is 30 percent larger than the company’s previous facility and boasts three indoor training rooms, large covered warehouse and an outside training area.

Instant Training was established in 2003 and is headed up by managing director Helen Carr. The company now has six full-time instructors and runs more than 60 different training courses both in the UK and also in partnership with United Equipment Rentals in Dubai where it has delivered training for the past four years.

The company says that it is planning to increase its training portfolio further in 2010 and introduce Harness Rescue Training and CPC for Road Haulage, while increasing its Forklift training.

Carr said: “The training business has kept stable with companies continuing to sign up for courses. In the past six to eight months we have seen a rise in demand for PASMA training and we have had more take-up of from those managing Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, who see the responsibility aspect now”.
