Cargotec restructures board

Cargotec, owner of Hiab and Kalmar, has implemented its new two business structure, Marine – previously MacGregor and Industrial and Terminal (I&T) comprising Hiab and Kalmar. As part of the change the corporate executive board has changed.

The new board consists of the following members: Mikael Mäkinen -chief executive, Pekka Vauramo - senior executive vice president I&T, Olli Isotalo -executive vice president Marine, Axel Leijonhufvud - executive vice president, supply, Eeva Sipilä - chief financial officer, Kirsi Nuotto - executive vice president, HR and communications, Matti Sommarberg - chief technology officer, Harald de Graaf - executive vice president Europe, Africa & Middle East, Ken Loh - executive vice president, APAC region, Lennart Brelin - executive vice president, Americas, Unto Ahtola - executive vice president product solutions I&T and Stefan Gleuel - executive vice president service solutions I&T.

Pekka Vartiainen - executive vice president of Hiab and Kari Heinistö Senior executive vice president will leave the executive Board. Heinistö is leaving the company while Vartiainen will “develop a common way of working towards Cargotec's defence business customers”.
