IPS joins with IGS

Independent Parts & Service, the UK based international parts and service company has formed a partnership with Icari Global Solutions – IGS – a company founded last year in Madrid, Spain to sell and support lifting equipment in Spain and Portugal.

Javier González will manage the parts division, which will stock and sell replacement parts for cranes, telehandlers and access equipment to Spanish and Portuguese companies.

The company will stock a large inventory of parts and components for a wide range of manufacturers. Centrally located within two minutes drive from Madrid Airport, IGS is well positioned cover the surrounding cities and regions.

The IGS team

IGS will benefit from IPS’s existing cross-referencing and purchasing systems. Tony Jennings, managing director of IPS UK said: “We are confident this new venture will provide us with the channel we need to access the Spanish market. IGS are in no doubt that the market exists for an independent parts supplier, and that with the right approach and expertise, they can offer the Spanish market a central point of contact for all their equipment parts requirements, including their access platforms market “.
