Two men injured in scissor accident

Two men have been seriously injured when a large scissor lift tipped over in
Luleå, northern Sweden yesterday.

The lift, reportedly a 24 metre heavy duty machine, was apparently working on a slope around 12 metres up on a building façade when it went over.

A 61 year-old man was been transferred to Umeå University Hospital for treatment for life threatening injuries, while a second man, 50 years-old, was taken to the intensive care unit at Sunderby hospital.

An investigation has been launched but we have no further details at this stage.
