In spite of the easy availability of almost certainly well priced appropriate access equipment these two men decided to risk taking their narrow counterbalance industrial forklift out on to the public highway to reach the gutters on this building.

At the side of a busy street too


Looking at the photos it is also a busy street and knowing the unevenness of most raised pavements/sidewalks this exercise could so easily have ended in tears for more than just our two foolhardy adventurers.

Perhaps this is safer than sticking a ladder out into the street? But it is about time that people liked this started to appreciate that readily available specialist equipment is now available. The access industry needs to make this breakthrough to people like this.
