£20 million deal for Speedy

Speedy Hire the UK's largest rental company has agreed a new five year strategic supply agreement with Connaught plc, the UK's leading integrated services provide for social housing, environmental and public sector markets.

The agreement will run until 2015 and is estimated to be worth over £20 million. Under the terms of the deal Speedy will be Connaught's exclusive provider of tools and equipment rental in the UK. It will operate a dedicated hire desk and purchase a range of equipment currently owned and operated by Connaught with a value of up to £1 million.

The agreement follows on from a deal agreed in 2008, when Speedy became a ‘key strategic partner’ to Connaught.
