Comfort for Bronto team
After five hours of heavy trekking and two strenuous uphills, the Bronto team has reached the relative luxury of the wilderness hut at Tuiskukuru.
With time for a sauna and a decent meal, with Carribean hotpot on the menu. Jan Denks says:”Everybody is very hungry preparing for our assault of Sokosti.” The bronto team.

The Bronto Artic Challenge team in the Tuiskukuru wilderness hut
The challenge is to endure an eight day 100km self-supported snow shoe trek 300km north of the polar circle ascending Sokosti, at 718 metres, the highest peak in the UKK National park.
The aim of the challenge is to raise funds and increase awareness of the Alzheimer's Society and its work. In order to learn more about the charity and put up some sponsorship money check out the website:
