Liebherr books more than 70 crane orders at Bauma

Liebherr, the largest exhibitor at Bauma has reported that it has booked over 70 new crane orders at the show, in spite of the fact that many international customers have not been able to make it due to the travel restrictions.

Liebherr's new stand at Bauma

The company, which has a massive new stand that is so big it has spawned a rumour mill of its own as other exhibitors and visitors pass on wildly different reports of how much it cost, while it remains firmly tight lipped on the subject, has booked an order at the show from a German construction industry logistics company for a package of 35 tower cranes. Another customer from India has ordered five 300 tonne crawler cranes while the mobile crane division has already sold more than 30 units.
