First glimpse of ATN Zebra 16

French manufacturer ATN will show its new 46ft Rough Terrain articulated boom, the Zebra 16, at Bauma this April.

The new machine will share many features with the company’s Zebra 12 boom, lift but features a classic double articulated riser, two section telescopic boom and articulated jib.

The new ATN Zebra 16 offers 16m of working height and 9.3m of outreach

Outreach will be a class leading 9.3 metres, well ahead of market leaders Genie and JLG and marginally in front of Niftylift’s new HR15 and Haulotte’s HA16PX.

As with all the longer outreach 45/46ft models the up and over height is likely to be less than seven metres. We have requested a full specification and will be covering the new model in the next Cranes & Access magazine.

Ground clearance on the new machine is a very healthy 450mm

Unless it has outriggers I would not use it!
