Ranger adds to sales team
UK based access specialist Ranger Equipment has appointed Shane Marshall as its sales representative for Ireland and the East of England. The appointment is part of the Chesterfield-based company’s expansion and restructuring of its sales coverage.
Marshall was previously UK sales manager for the Irish based alloy tower manufacturer, Instant UpRight, and has over 20 years sales experience in the access industry. He said: “My recent specialism in solving architectural access transfers well to the technicalities, in particular, of selling Teupen spider lifts for key applications such as facilities cleaning and maintenance.”
Ranger’s distribution brands now include: Teupen, Aichi, PB Lifttechnik and Giraf Track.
Managing director Steve Hadfield said: “We feel very positive about our market position at present. Even though we are at the very early stages of recovery, we are experiencing a healthy level of enquiries for our high end, specialist machines as rental companies focus on the long-term return from any new investment.”
Marshall will be manning the Ranger stand at Vertikal Days in June where the company is planning to show the latest new products from its suppliers.
