SX-180 for BAC

Dutch access rental company BAC Hoogwerkers has taken delivery of a 180ft Genie SX-180 boom lift, from the company's distributor HDW Nederland.

The SX-180 features a five section main boom plus a 3.05 metre articulating jib with 60 degrees horizontal rotation and 135 degrees of articulation, which combined with the 160 degrees of platform rotation allows the machine to get in close in challenging spaces, without moving the base machine. Maximum outreach is 24.4 metres and maximum platform capacity 340kg.

Founded in 1987 by owner Dic Bac, the company runs a fleet of more than 400 platforms in the Netherlands - many of them large or specialised. It also has a business in Poland, with four locations and over 600 units.
