Co-owner for Star

The recently launched UK rental company Star Platforms has announced that Bryan Freeman has joined the business as sales director and co-owner. He will be responsible for all aspects of sales and business development.

Freeman has almost 30 years’ experience in the access industry, having started out with M&S Hire and subsequently becoming a founder of Complete Tool Boxes, before joining Panther Platform Rentals in 2001. He became a sales/account director at Nationwide Platforms following its acquisition of Panther a position he held until earlier this year.

Steve Simmons (L) welcomes Bryan Freeman to Star Platforms

Star’s managing director Steve Simmons said: "Having worked closely with Bryan for the past 13 years I know he'll be a great asset to the business and to our customers."

Freeman added: "Star’s aim is simply to offer a personal, first class hire service to every client, big or small and I am delighted to be involved with a company that places such emphasis on the customer.”

Star Platforms was formally established earlier this month, with an initial fleet of 80 self-propelled platforms based near Luton, predominantly serving London & the Home Counties - see: New access rental entrant in UK.
