Peter Jones
Many of you have contacted us to ask about the health of Peter Jones the UK safety and training consultant, who is also a Vertikal Days team member and safety officer. Given the level of interest we have asked Peter’s family if he would be willing for us to publish a statement, and he has responded that he is very happy for us to do so.

Peter Jones
Two weeks ago he suffered a stroke that left him unable speak and paralysed down one side. He was rushed to hospital where his condition was soon stabilised. Within a few days he began to recover some movement, and a little later to regain some vocal control. Since then he has made very good progress and was discharged from hospital. He is now in a specialist stroke rehabilitation centre where he is receiving focused support and physiotherapy. We are told that his speech continues to improve and that he is already checking out Vertikal.Net, he even sent us a short text this week.
Needless to say he will not be carrying out his usual duties at Vertikal Days this year, but we do hope that he will be back and in better shape than ever for Vertikal Days 2020.
We have also heard from Jeff Eisenberg of Pump Power Rental, that he has set up a just giving page to raise funds for the Stroke Association, on Peter’s behalf.
