New commercial director for Bryn Thomas
UK rental company Bryn Thomas Cranes has appointed Andy Unsworth as commercial director.
He joins the company from Cork Crane Hire in Widnes where he spent almost five years, and more recently as its commercial director. He began his career as a professional rugby player with the Rochdale Hornets, moving to Queensland, Australia to play for the Sarina Crocodiles. During his time there he worked for Sarina Crane Hire as a rigger driver. In 2015 he moved back to the UK to play for Halifax and then Coventry, joining Cork Crane Hire as an Appointed Person, supervisor, operator and slinger, becoming technical contracts manager in 2018, and commercial director almost two years later.

Bryn Thomas is based in Flint, North Wales, and runs a fleet of 66 cranes - topped by a 300 tonne All Terrain - from its Flint headquarters plus four other locations in Manchester and the North East.
