First LTM 1120 in UK
UK crane rental company City Lifting has taken delivery of the first 120 tonne Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 All Terrain crane in the country.
The new crane features a seven section 66 metre main boom, plus a 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, while a seven metre insert can take the maximum tip height to more than 94 metres and provide a maximum radius of 64 metres. Features include a Stage V engine, the company’s VarioBalast and VarioBase systems as well as its standardised crane control system.
Company owner Trevor Jepson said: “We chose this crane because of its exceptionally strong boom which fully telescopes to 66 metres. Combined with a seven metre outrigger width and a minimum tail swing of 3.8 metres, it is ideal for erecting tower cranes or lifting heavy air conditioning equipment. A lot of our work is in the city where space is limited so this new LTM 1120-4.1 is the ideal solution.”

MONSTER
As most crane companies...sending cranes 100 miles away same day and back to depot
So..as a driver you will drive 2-3 hrs to site then work 8-10 on site after 2-3 hrs drive back to depot and like that day by day
So...to earn your money you have to do 12-16 hrs average a day

I do admire the knack Trevor Jepson has of identifying the new, the bold and the unique types and model cranes he has built his business on.
