Head of sales for Riwal UK

Riwal UK has appointed Steven Craven as head of sales, he was previously sales manager for the Midlands. The move follows the promotion of commercial manager Steve Skeates to UK country manager in September.

Steven Craven

Craven joined Riwal in March 2020, just as the Covid 19 pandemic hit, having previously worked with Nationwide Platforms where he was regional project manager.

He has spent most of his career in the construction industry, starting with Premier Asphalt in 2006 as a programming and planning manager. In 2010 he moved to Hays as a construction consultant, leaving a couple of years later for the Russell Taylor group, where he was appointed as a team leader for the construction division. He joined Nationwide at the start of 2018 as areas sales manager for North Wales, the Wirral and Cheshire and was promoted to regional manager after three years.

Talking of the new role, Craven said: “It’s a huge opportunity for me and I’m in no doubt, we will again take huge strides as we grow our market share. We have a fantastic team both commercially and operationally, and the brand of Riwal UK continues to grow.”
