New CPO for Sunbelt

Sunbelt Rentals has promoted Monica Ziegler to the new role of chief people officer, based at USA headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also joins the executive committee and will lead efforts to advance the strategy and culture of the organisation.

Monica Ziegler

Ziegler joined Sunbelt just over a year ago as vice president of talent and development and has played a key role in enhancing succession planning and leadership development. She was previously vice president of Human Resources at Advance Auto Parts, having been with the company for more than 28 years.

Chief executive Brendon Horgan said: “Monica’s efforts have already proven to be invaluable to our organisation and with her vision, we will further our people first strategy. The greatest way to support our team members is to invest in them.”

Ziegler added: “The company culture we have created here at Sunbelt Rentals is like no other.
