Patrick Degen
A veteran of the powered access and telehandler markets, Degen joins Magni from Swiss manufacturer Amman, where for the past five years he has been responsible for its French sales operation. He began his career in late 1990, working in south west Germany with a car wholesaler and then a service business, before joining Haulotte in 1993, as district sales manager for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He was effectively responsible for launching the French manufacturer onto the German market.
After five years establishing the company’s presence in the German market, he set up a wholly owned subsidiary - Haulotte Germany, and managed the business for the next 14 years or so, taking on the additional responsibility for Haulotte Benelux in 2005, while also looking after sales and service in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Then in 2013 he left to
join Wacker Neuson as managing director of its French subsidiary. Two years later he moved to Case Construction as business director for France, leaving the company for Amman in 2018.
Magni branded aerial lifts are built by Dingli in China, but the Italian manufacturer played a significant role in the design and engineering of several models in the Dingli/Magni boom lift range.
