Cross Hire

We are pleased to pass on the news of a recent wedding between the key staff of two leading UK crane rental companies in the English midlands.

Dale England, hire desk manager at ABA Cranes in Walsall and Tammy Wytkin of Wytkin Lifting Services in Chesterfield were married at Tutbury Castle in Staffordshire on August 21st.

The couple met after spending a number of years speaking to each other over the phone when re hiring cranes from each other. Tammy says "I can assure you that whilst we talk cranes during work time there is a strict no crane talk policy at home (until we get a call out or a customer call obviously)."

Unfortunately due to archeological items in the ground at the Castle, no cranes were allowed! About 150 people gathered to share the special day which included a BBQ and buffet in the evening along with multiple cakes and an ice cream van at Tammy's request whilst listening to the Suzanne Mott Jazz Quartet!

There was also a magician and a caricaturist as well as a rodeo sheep, inflatable assault course and a test your strength high striker (for the crane drivers you understand). Sounds like quite a wedding!

All those fortunate enough not to be working from both ABA Cranes and Wytkin Lifting Services attended the wedding as well as many others.

"There was not a crane in sight," said Tammy, "for a change, although my wedding gift from my new husband was a England flag hard hat!"

We wish the couple a long and happy life together.
