Genie adds to UK sales team
Genie has confirmed the promotion of John Chandler to the post of sales director for the UK & Ireland while Craig Duffy joins the company to look after sales in Scotland.
Chandler has held a similar job at Genie before, having been appointed as regional sales manager for the UK and Ireland in May 2016, but he left the company at the end of that year to join JCB as national access sales manager. In January he rejoined the company as strategic accounts and business development manager with the additional responsibility for Genie Service Solutions in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He first started with Genie in 2013, from Wolsely, where he was strategic accounts manager and had previously worked for HSS and Hewden.

John Chandler
In his new role he will report to European regional vice president for sales and marketing Jacco de Kluijver and will lead the Genie UK and Ireland sales team, he will also retain his responsibilities for Genie Service Solutions GSS.
Craig Duffy joins the company as territory sales manager for Scotland and the republic of Ireland. For the past two years or so he has worked with Vp’s spider lift rental division Higher Access, where he was business development manager. Prior to that he worked with rental company AFI-Uplift for nine years in positions of increasing commercial responsibility, including sales manager. In his new role he reports to John Chandler and is based in Scotland.

Craig Duffy
Speaking of the appointment Chandler said: “From field sales to strategic accounts, national sales manager and most recently national business development manager, Craig brings an in depth understanding of the access business and a solid experience in customer service. Focusing on strengthening the presence of Genie, Craig is fully dedicated to customers in Scotland and The Republic of Ireland. I have every confidence in Craig for providing the responsive, high-level service that our customers’ business relies on.”
