JCB appoints new regional VP

JCB North America has appointed Van Clarkson as its vice president sales for the Eastern region.

Clarkson will be responsible for all dealer sales in the region, with all eight district managers reporting directly to him. Clarkson will also be responsible for strengthening JCB’s distribution network.

Clarkson joins JCB from Hyster, where he was vice president of sales. Prior to Hyster he worked with Komatsu Finance and Associates Commercial Corporation.

John Patterson, chairman of JCB North America said: “Van will play a key role in communicating and carrying out JCB’s core initiatives in the Eastern Region. I believe that he has the energy, skills and experience necessary to take sales in this region to the next level.”

Clarkson added: “I’m eager to roll up my sleeves and get down to business. JCB is a top-notch company with a great deal of potential to increase its market share in North America. I’m looking forward to meeting our dealer partners and helping them provide their customers with reliable, high-performance equipment that can have a positive impact on their bottom lines.”
