Dutch Death wish

A Vertikal.Net reader based in Rotterdam spotted a man working near to his office in the city. At first glance you might think “well at least he is using a proper folding scaffold base”, even though he has the platform fitted two rungs down from the top, so that the frame creates a trip hazard.

Not the greatest use of a folding scaffold, a guardrail would look so much safer, however hardly a Death Wish…..

The scary part though is that the scaffold is located close to the unprotected edge of the roof around 20 metres or so in the air.

Hopefully he has locked the castors and does not climb down the outside of the scaffold, like so many do!
