New director for APS

UK based aerial lift distributor Access Platform Sales (APS), the Omme and Hinowa distributor in the UK, has appointed Shane Paver as operations director Scotland.

Shane Paver

Paver came to the access industry by an unusual route having trained first as a chef, and worked as head chef at St Pauls Cathedral in London and personal chef to the dean of St Pauls.

In 1995 he changed careers and joined HSS Lift & Shift as a driver before being promoted to branch manager. He was then one of the 10 managers to start HHS Access Hire which included formal training at Genie’s plant in Redmond Washington.

In 1999 he was recruited to the Raymond access team but left after just 10 months, joining APS as northern area manager. In 2007 he moved to Scotland to as general manager which led to his recent promotion.
