Runaway Telehandler
A telehandler parked up on a residential site in New Jersey ran away on Wednesday night smashing into a neighbour’s house.
Before leaving the site for the day in Chatham New Jersey, the builder loaded a quantity of timber onto the forks and raised and telescoped the boom, one assumes to prevent heft?

He then reportedly put a chock under one of the wheels and left, sometime later the machine, a small Lull obviously overcame the chock and began to roll away backwards.
It smashed through the garden fence and loosing its load continued over the neighbour’s yard and crashing into the house causing considerable damage..
Fortunately no one was injured in the incident, police were called and conducted an investigation of what caused the machine to run away.
