Thihatmer hands over at Teupen
Alfons Thihatmer has announced that he will assign his current management responsibilities to Michael Wotschke and will resign from the Teupen group management board on his own initiative by the end of this year.
Thihatmer has been a managing director of Teupen since 1986 and has played a highly significant role in the company’s development, including the launch of tracked aerial lift production, leading to the company’s current leadership in the mid to large spider lift market.

Thihatmer’s resignation and handover of responsibilities is part of a succession plan that was mapped out in 2007, when he and former joint managing director Andreas Grochowiak were negotiating the sale of their majority share in Teupen to “Nord Holding.
Thihatmer will continue to be involved with the company as a consultant and
shareholder, with particular focus on the development of new products.
