Bristow joins Xtreme
Dave Bristow previously with Carelift/Skyjack has joined Xtreme, the Las Vegas based telehandler manufacturer as sales manager for Eastern Canada.
Bristow entered the telehandler market when he joined Canadian based Carelift as its vice president of sales and marketing in 1997. Under his guidance the company introduced its range of heavy duty Zoom Boom models carving out a niche for itself at the top end of the North American market.

When Skyjack acquired Carelift in 2007 Bristow stayed on as vice president of telehandler sales. He was also involved in the acquisition of the Ingersol Rand telehandler range from Volvo in 2008.
Xtreme, founded in 2003, is owned by Don Ahern of Ahern Rentals and produces a range of North American type telehandlers designed specifically for the rental market, its largest unit, the XR1267 is the world’s highest straight frame telehandler with a fork height of 20.3 metres and a maximum lift capacity of 5,400kgs. It also imports Dieci telehandlers which it sells under its own brand name.
