First Hinowa Lithium 23 goes to Edocar Noleggi

Italian rental company Edocar Noleggi has purchased the first lithium ion powered 23 metre Hinowa Lightlift 23.12IIIS tracked spider lift to be delivered.

The new model was handed over at last week’s Samoter Fair in Verona to Edocar's president, Edoardo Frosio, who was extremely enthusiastic about the new model and the lithium ion battery technology on tracked spider lift platforms.

Speaking at the hand over during the fair Frosio said: “We bought this machine to meet the specific needs of our customers, particularly painters, that are looking for a machine that is quiet and that does not cause emission problems when working internally, and yet can still move freely without wandering cables.”

“At the same time the same it is a huge advantage if the same machine can also work outside and on poor ground for a full day without stopping. We think that there will be a lot of demand for this type of lift especially in the historical centres of cities like Milan or for maintenance at the big camping sites on Lake Garda.”

“We have used Hinowa tracked carriers since 1999 and purchased our first Hinowa lifts in 2003, since when we have purchased models such as the Hinowa 14.70 and 19.65. We have been particularly impressed by the new IIIS line with its automatic outrigger set up.”

“This is the first lithium ion machine of our fleet, but our next purchase will be a couple of Goldlift 17.80XL equipped with the same technology… We believe that the market for this type of crawler lifts will move increasingly towards lithium power packs and our idea is to have a full range of lithium ion machines by the end of 2011.”
