Genie offers extended warranty

Terex is offering its ‘Xtend’ extended warranty option on Genie self-propelled aerial work platforms in Europe Africa and the Middle East.

Customers will be able to purchase 12 or 24 months of additional componentry coverage in addition to the standard warranty.

Genie’s current standard warranty provides two years of electrical and hydraulic components coverage and five years of structural coverage.

The extended protection period begins when the standard warranty expires. For example, if a customer purchases a 24 month extension, his total coverage would be four years of electrical and hydraulic components coverage and five years of structural coverage.

Phil Graysmark, vice president of sales for the region said: “Terex Xtend adds an additional level of security to Genie equipment investments and provides customers confidence that their equipment is protected for years to come.”
