New technical manager at Oil & Steel

Oil & Steel has appointed a new technical manager as Paolo Balugani moves to a new strategic commercial role.

Balugani, a co-founder of Oil & Steel, will hand over his current responsibilities for new product design and development to Cristian Falceri who has been appointed as technical manager new product development, reporting directly to managing director Andrea Certo.

Cristian Falceri

Falceri,38, is an electronics engineer and has worked for Oil & Steel since 2008, on the development of electronics and software products.

In his new role he will coordinate and lead the activities of the product development team, which will have increased responsibilities in the research and development area, including the evaluation of new technologies and coordinating further laboratory testing of prototypes and products in order to increase the level of reliability.

Paolo Balugani

Balugani will now focus on the long-term development of Oil & Steel, in terms of both the commercial organisation, market research and strategic product management. He will also be responsible for a number of domestic and international major accounts.
