New VP-Atlantic North for H&E

Louisiana based H&E Equipment has appointed Fred L. Ransom as regional vice president, mid-Atlantic north region. Based in Baltimore, Maryland his duties will include overseeing the full-service operations, including directing rentals, sales, parts, and service initiatives.

Fred Ransom

Ransom joins H&E from Repco Partners a manufacturer’s representative group, until 2009 he was a regional vice president for United Rentals where he managed 80 locations across Eastern Canada and the North-eastern United States.

He joined United in 1999 when it acquired his previous employer Rental Tools & Equipment, where he was vice president and general manager. In total he has over 30 years’ experience in the equipment rental industry.
