Trico promotes Carmolingo

New Jersey based aerial lift rental company Trico Lift has appointed Chris Carmolingo to the newly created position of chief operating officer.

Carmolingo has been with Trico for more than 18 years and was previously executive vice president of sales and marketing among several other duties.

Trico Lift’ s chief executive Ken Pustizzi said: “In his new role, Chris will focus on maintaining Trico Lift’s operational and customer service excellence standards as we expand in Texas, integrate the acquisition of Modern Group’s aerial lift assets and grow our market share in the Mid-Atlantic region”.

Carmolingo added: “I am excited to take on this new challenge considering the tremendous market opportunities now available to Trico Lift. I look forward to working with the entire Trico Lift team to maintain the high level of customer service which remains the foundation of Trico Lift’s success.”

Trico has also announced that John M. Paz, the former owner of Godwin Pumps, has become executive chairman of Trico Lift’s board and will provide operational leadership working with Pustizzi, Carmolingo and the company’s entire management team during the current rapid growth phase the company has launched.

Paz, an investor in Trico Lift is credited as having built Godwin Pumps into one of the leading equipment rental businesses in North America. “As a long-time advocate and supporter of Trico Lift, I’m pleased to be positioned to help guide the company toward the realisation of its vision to be the best provider in the industry,” he said.

Privately held Trico Lift was founded in 1949 and runs a fleet of around 4,000 aerial lifts and telescopic handlers.
