New Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 for Böhler

German based Auto Böhler has taken delivery of a new four axle 100 tonne Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 All Terrain crane. The new crane is intended to replace an aging 90 tonne LTM1090/2 within the Böhler fleet.

The new crane, which boasts a 60 metre main boom and 100 tonne rating at three metres, will largely be used in the company’s crane hire division, joining eight other mobile cranes with capacities of between 30 and 130 tonnes, all of them Liebherr.

The new LTM 1100-4.2 is handed over in Ehingen

Established in 1919, Karlsruhe based Auto Böhler is the largest car and truck recovery and service operation in the Baden region. The company was one of the first partners of the ADAC, the German automobile association, as long ago as the early 1950’s. Today it is managed by the third generation of the Böhler family with Klaus Böhler as the managing partner and operates from seven locations. It employs 100 and operates a fleet of more than 70 vehicles.

The new LTM 1100-4.2 was collected from the Liebherr plant at Ehingen just under three weeks ago, by Klaus Böhler and Kai Schwarz.
