Vertikal Comment

This new boom looks like a solid machine, Dino has a good reputation for building quality machines at a reasonable price. In terms of height it is unusual fitting in above the usual 51ft models developed from the 45ft articulated booms and below the 60/66ft models. It is likely to appeal most of all to those who look for something a little different in this area and so may come up against product like the Nifty’s larger HR models. However its lack of new technology could make that a tough comparison – Nifty has succeeded in winning buyers away from Genie, JLG and Haulotte with its SiOPs safety system, Hybrid power unit and Tough Cage..

While this new Dino looks like a first class machine it does not offer anything radically new. That might be the best way to enter this sector so it is not a direct criticism, after all SkyJack followed this route when it re-entered the boom market, having been burned with its original overly radical boom products with its first venture into booms.

Dino does have plenty of devoted customers and they may be sufficient enough to get the company started in this sector. All in all this looks like a very good product.
