Acme appoints new Gulf coast manager

Acme Lift, the US based wholesale rental company has appointed Mike Ferguson as regional manager for the Gulf Coast and central regions of the United States, based in Dallas.

Ferguson is an equipment rental veteran having started out in 1992 at Prime Equipment in Garland, Texas. Three years later he moved to Horizon High Reach in Irving, Texas, as an outside sales representative. In 1998 he joined Mango Equipment in Irving as sales representative for Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana.

When Mango Equipment was acquired by United Rentals in 1999, Ferguson remained with the business and over the next 12 years held several branch management jobs before being promoted to manager of new business development, with the brief to set up branches across the Gulf Coast and the Midwest.
