Terex appoints new director

Terex has appointed a new non-executive director Scott Wine, chief executive of snowmobile and quad bike manufacturer Polaris Industries.

Wine joined Polaris in 2008 from Fire Safety Americas – part of United Technologies – where he was president. Prior to that he was with Danaher Corp. working with its Jacob Vehicle Systems and Veeder-Root subsidiaries in the USA and Europe.

Scott Wine


From 1996 to 2003, he worked with Allied Signal Corp.'s Aerospace Division, which became Honeywell International. He began his career as an officer in the United States Navy.

Terex chief executive Ron DeFeo said: “Scott Wine has a proven track record of growing profitable industrial businesses, acquiring and integrating businesses and rapidly driving results.”
