Pfeifer Group open facility in China

The Pfeifer group, the German wire rope producer has built a new facility for its Chinese subsidiary in Shanghai. The new plant will sell and produce ropes for the elevator and construction machinery industry

Pfeifers new facility in Shanghai, China

The parent company headquartered in Memmingen, Germany, has been producing ropes in Memmingen since 1579 covering 12 generations of the Pfeifer family. The subsidiary in Shanghai will implement the same EN ISO 9001: 2000 quality programme as its German facilities.

The supply of crane ropes is one of the groups most important businesses, the company says that interest for their products and services at last years Bauma China fair was well above expectations.
