New GM for Wacker Neuson Linz

Compact construction equipment and telehandler manufacturer Wacker Neuson has appointed Gert Reichetseder as geschäftsführer (general manager) of its Austrian production operation, Wacker Neuson Linz.

Reichetseder joined the company this week, replacing Gerhard Neudorfer, who the company says - is leaving at his own request. He has spent the past 12 years in the engineering industry with injection molding specialist Engel, holding various posts and responsibilities, both in Austria and overseas.

In addition to being responsible for business development and sales & service, he will look after finance, administration and human resources.

Wacker Neuson Linz employs around 400 at its Leonding, the company is though planning a move in May 2012 to a new 170,000 square metre plant in Hörsching.
