New CEO for Alimak Hek
Mast climber and hoist specialist Alimak Hek has appointed Tormod Gunleiksrud as its new group chief executive.
Gunleiksrud will not take up the role until the start of November, replacing interim chief executive Lars Josefsson. In order to ensure a smooth transition, former chief executive Patrik Nolåker, now a main board director and Josefsson will support the new man until the year end.

Tormod Gunleiksrud
Gunleiksrud, grew up in Norway and is currently employed by ABB in Switzerland as manager of operational excellence for its robotics business. Prior to that he was the president and regional division manager North Asia for ABB Robotics, stationed in Shanghai, China. He has worked with ABB since 1984 in various roles within its Robotics, Process Automation and Oil & Gas businesses.
Alimak Hek chairman Magnus Lindquist said: “With Mr Josefsson as the interim chief executive we have had the time to evaluate and select the best candidate for the job. Mr Gunleiksrud is a perfect match to the future challenges of the Group and will, with his experience from different industrial businesses and China contribute to growing and strengthening the group.”
