Wim Le Roy to leave Heli
Wim Le Roy, sales manager of Belgian sales and rental company Heli has decided to leave the business.
It seems that his departure, which comes close on the heels of a major open day at the company’s new premises, is related to differences of opinion over future strategy.
Heli is the distributor for Snorkel, Bluelift and Omme aerial work platforms, Maeda mini cranes and Ormig pick & Carry cranes.

A statement sent to customers this morning said:
“It is with regret that I have to announce you that we’ve taken the decision, after internal consideration, to stop my cooperation with the company Heli. My decision is based on there being too big a difference exists in the vision for the future evolution of the company. By taking this step, unity will be restored to the Heli board of directors.”
“During the six years as sales manager for Heli, I have had the pleasure of discovering a new and challenging sector, and have got to know a lot of interesting and pleasant people, not only within the Benelux region, but also in France, Germany, Italy and way beyond.”
“It is my intention to remain within the sector and several options are already crossing my mind, of these I will inform you more as soon as the time is right. I do wish to thank everyone with whom I had the pleasure of doing business with, or laying the foundation of possible cooperation. It would be a pleasure to maintain these good relations in the future.”
“My contact details will remain the same for the immediate future, and I will update you on any changes when they occur. In the meantime I wish you all the best in your private and professional life, and I hope to be able to meet you again soon.”
Best regards,
Wim Le Roy
Vertikal Comment
This something of a surprise, Le Roy was a key ingredient of Heli’s rapid growth and expansion over the past few years following an ownership and senior management change around seven years ago.
We understand that the decision has been mutually agreed and that the transition to a new Sales manager will be managed in an orderly fashion on the part of the two parties.
