Maber moves into Russia
Italian mast climber and hoist manufacturer Maber has appointed Vertex as its exclusive distributor in Russia.
The distribution agreement was finalised at the recent SAIE exhibition in Bologna, and included an initial stock order for two MBA 800/150S one tonne passenger hoists and a 1,400kg MBA 1400R. The equipment will at the Vertex warehouse in early December. The first units have been ordered to a high specification and include fully galvanised mast and car and Maber’s top range safety systems. The machines are also equipped with erectors platform, lubrication mast rail system, and lifting davits.

Dmitry Pankin of Vertex said: “Maber passenger and material hoists are famous all over the world, and we are sure that the equipment will be popular in the Russian market as well, due to high quality and advanced manufacturing technology. Besides that we will stock the equipment in Moscow and in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as supply our customers with service support and training.”
Vertex was founded earlier this year to provide both sales and rental of cranes and access equipment in the local market. The two principles travelled to Bologna last month in order to seek products that they might represent on the Russian market.
