Chuck Hutchinson (L) congratulates Brian Burket
Burket joins the company from Hertz Equipment, most recently as regional sales manager for Michigan, Indiana and Eastern Canada. He has worked with Hertz in various positions since 2001, prior to that he spent almost 12 years with Hull Brothers Equipment Rental in Detroit. He joined Haulotte at the end of the summer.
He will be responsible for a wide range of products aimed at the general rental market including BilJax scaffolding and its various staging products.
Talking about his new Burket said: “I like to be involved, meet the customers we serve and make strategic decisions that will play out in their businesses as well. We already have a great team in place to work with, and I see so much potential throughout our entire sales, marketing and engineering organisation, which make me very excited about the future of our company.”
Hutchinson has been with BilJax for more than 20 years and was a member of the senior management team that acquired BilJax from Plettac in 2003 via an MBO and then sold the business to Haulotte in 2008. As a key figure in the American Rental Association and the Scaffold Industry Association he has been a key industry figure. It is hard to image that he will remain in full retirement for too long.
