Haulotte appoint Group Customer service manager

Haulotte has appointed Patrice Métairie as head of the Group’s Customer Service department, he will report directly to Segundo Fernandez, the Group’s Sales Manager.

Métairie (34) joined the Group in 1995 as Purchasing Manager and then moved on to manage the Creusot factory for five years, before becoming the Group's Customer Services Manager. In this new role his main objective, will be to develop the range of services offered through the Group’s subsidiaries and distributor network located on five continents.

For several months Haulotte, has been working on a forward looking service strategy incorporating flexible, made to measure solutions to meet customer expectations.

This “Full Service” approach, is, the company says, based on listening to the customer, respecting commitments and the continuous development of the strong local teams.

Métairies remit includes:

-spare parts which is now offering to deliver genuine original Haulotte parts to any location in the world within 24 hours. The range of parts top be covered by this service ranges from normal wearing parts to industrial clothing, to consumables such as lubricating oil, etc.

-Service support and policies for routine maintenance, warranty and repairs.


-Regulatory inspections, according to the local legal requirements

-And training, not only of customer service staff, but also operator training and certification. Haulotte are one of the first four companies to be appointed as an Approved IPAF (AWPT) training centre in the USA.
