New treasurer for Harsco

Harsco has promoted Robert G. Yocum to vice president and treasurer, with responsibility for the company’s liquidity management, capital market activities, global treasury operations and bank and rating agency relationships.

Yocum joined Harsco in 1981 and was appointed assistant treasurer in 2001.

Barry Malamud interim chief financial officer said: "Bob is thoroughly familiar with our businesses and well-respected by our financial partners. Filling this position now with someone of Bob’s considerable experience ensures uninterrupted continuity and focus in this key area of our financial leadership structure.”

Malamud took over as interim CFO in November after Stephen Schnoor quit in November, he held the title of treasurer from mid-2010 until his departure.
