Scaffold blowing in the wind

A large façade scaffold on a four-storey apartment block in Haugesund, South West Norway was close to collapse this weekend.

The police and fire department were called to the scene, the summoned the contractor who then tried to secure the damaged scaffold. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident.

The damaged scaffold was saved from going over

The incident does demonstrate and remind us how important it is for scaffold, especially with fitted with safety nets, to be really well attached to the structure that it is being used on.
