A Rapid update

UK based access rental company Rapid Platforms has taken delivery of two new truck mounted platforms, a 20 metre RAM Gemini 20.35PTJ and a 32 metre Palfinger Citystar P320.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne Nissan Cabstar chassis the RAM Gemini 20.35 has a double sigma type riser and an articulating jib offering an outreach of 11 metres at a working height of just over 10 metres with a 200kg platform capacity. The boom can also be raised to 14 metres without needing to deploy its outriggers, as long as the superstructure remains centred.

The Palfinger (Wumag) Citystar P320, which is mounted on a two axle 12 tonne MAN chassis, features a three section telescopic boom plus a two section telescopic jib providing 23 metres of outreach and up to 600kgs platform capacity with zero tail swing.
