First Liebherr derrick in India

India’s first Liebherr 200 DR 5/10 Litronic derrick crane has dismantled a tower crane on one of the country’s tallest commercial building, the 50 storey -203 metre Kohinoor Tower in Mumbai, for main contractor Larsen & Toubro (L & T).

L & T ordered the derrick crane based on the increasing number of towers being planned that are above 200 metres, in order to provide a safe and economic system for dismantling tower cranes, once the building has been completed.
