Dueco makes appointments

Terex Utilities distributor Dueco has appointed Michael Charles as eastern region service manager, replacing Greg Alder who has been appointed aftermarket sales specialist at the company’s headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Charles will provide direction for growth in the service business throughout the east coast area and the mid-western area supported from the company’s Medina, Ohio service centre. Prior to joining Dueco he was regional aftermarket business manager at JCB North America and has also held a number of product support roles at the Reading Group, Terex and McNeilus.

With over 33 years service with Dueco, Adler assumes responsibility for expanding the service, training, parts, tooling and accessories business to utilities, tree care and signage markets.

The company has also announced the relocation of its service facility to Thomasville, Pennsylvania. Around 12 miles from its former facility in York, the company said its new 2,000 square metre facility, with improved access and larger yard space, will accommodate growth and be more responsive to customer needs.

Dueco - an acronym for 'Dalum's Utility Equipment Company' after its founder Pete Dalum - sells and mounts Terex aerial bucket lifts and digger derricks, to a wide range of trucks and carriers and claims to be the manufacturer’s largest mounting partner. It also mounts and distributes Fassi loader cranes.
