Gantic adds UK sales exec

Norwegian aerial lift battery charger company Gantic has appointed Darrell Fowler as technical sales executive for the UK.

Fowler has spent more than 15 years in the access industry having started with SGB and then moving to Nationwide Access - as it was then - and then AJ Access. He left AJ after the sale of the rental business to AFI and has since worked on a consulting basis for a number of clients, including Cela distributor Euraccess and rental company GT Access.

Gantic – owned by Tommy Jørgensen, a veteran access rental entrepreneur – produces a smart charger that is unique in that it charges each cell of a battery individually, cutting off as each cell reaches full charge, avoiding over-cooking and excessive gassing, thus saving energy and prolonging battery life.
