Palfinger Sany opens Turkish office
The Palfinger Sany joint venture has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey as part of its geographic expansion plans.
The new office, which officially opened last week, is intended to provide customer support assistance for Sany mobile cranes and to develop partnerships with major Turkish contractors. Ersavaş Güdül has been appointed to manage the operation as regional business development manager.
Güdül joins the company from Eriksson, where he was a partner account manager for Turkey and North Middle East. He has worked for Palfinger in the past in a purchasing and sourcing role from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that he was with Mercedes in Turkey, he started his career as an engineer and having trained in Berlin.
Güdül said: "We offer products, that support our customers in implementing their projects and which are optimally tailored to their needs. With the new liaison office in Istanbul, our customers have a reliable contact for their inquiries locally. We can also assist our customers to find the ideal lifting solutions for their strategic projects outside of Turkey, such as Russia, the CIS countries, Middle East and Africa.”
