Tadano ATF 70G-4 for Carpin

Italian crane rental company Carpin Autogru has taken delivery of a new 70 tonne Tadano ATF 70G-4.

The new crane joins several other Tadano cranes in the company’s fleet, including a 30 tonne ATF 30-2, a 50 tonne three axle ATF 50-3 and a four axle 80 tonne ATF 80-4. Following the delivery the crane featured on the Tadano Faun stand at the recent GIS fair in Piacenza, where a formal handing over ceremony took place.

Carpin Autogru is headquartered in Scorzè, near Treviso and has depots in Verona, Udine – near the Slovenian border and Mestre/Venice. It purchased the crane for heavy lifting work in the earthquake hit area of Emilia-Romagna.

The ATF 70G-4 was also chosen because for its two engine configuration, compact dimensions, mobility- the crane can travel legally with its full counterweight - and manoeuvrability with 8x8x8 drive/steer.

The crane has a 44 metre five section boom plus a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway boom extension providing a hook height of over 60 metres.
